Traditional print magazine that are focus on hand-on skills have learn to change with the improvement of technology and have enter the digital form and created the electronic magazine. Electronic magazine have a more variety of skills that can be developed into it such as video, audio, slideshow and published the text format in a more effective ways. It provides the reader with a firsthand virtual experience, up-to-date information and easy access via iPad. However they are no specific platform to create the electronic magazine for the publisher and designer (Sivek 2010).
Magazine has always been a publishing genre where it will keep information that are interesting and catch the eyes of us, the reader. In my aspects, there will be a few factors that will contribute in linking both the reader and the magazine such as the truthfulness, the own characteristics of the magazine if compared to the rest of the publishing, special feel that it produce to the readers and the easy availability of the stock. Moreover, these elements are important not only for printed based but to electronic format as well.
In electronic magazine (Ezine), there are a few details that could only be done electronic wise but could not be reach using the printed based. Ezine actually used more variety of ways to interact with the reader and sending the message across in a more efficient manner. According to Kress and Leeuwen (2006, p.201), when composing images, multiple extent of salience are present in the parts and arranged the information based on the degree of importance, the significance level in grabbing the attention compared to other parts and directly created a hierarchy. In my opinion, issue that are directly link or engaged to the reader will have a higher salient. For example, in Ezine such as E-Mags, readers are capable to get the hands-on experience on the issue with video, audio and also slideshow that are available which will not be found in printed based magazine.
According to Oakley (2005, p.299), for interpretation to take place, both the written and unwritten material in a genre should be made available in order for the message to be deliver more efficiently. With the variety of moving images and web application used in Ezine, it will interact in a different ways compared to only text-driven approaches that can be usually found in printed based magazine. As supported by Walsh (2006, p.26), nowadays written text is no longer the major part in interpreting a message. For example, it can be seen in Gourmet Live(S), application such as HTML5 and demo video. Next, it also allowed their readers to share the content of in the social networking sites, the information are updated frequently, consists of more images and varieties of cues from graphics are being used.

Thus, variety of salience in will enhance the reader experience in publishing, and it could be seen in electronic magazine. According to Morrish (1996), electronic magazine are popular with their accuracy in the content, entertaining of the application present in it and aggravation. Designers have to be aware that readers does not relied solely on the content but on the reliability, economy(less investment) and convenient (easy available).
