- Start with reading blogs that are present and find interest on subject matters that you like. With an interest build on reading a particular blog, you could understand what attract your attention more and just in case you have shortage of idea, the blogs that you have read before could provide an idea.
- While reading other blogs, do provide feedback and comment on the chat box or comment page. This could provide other blogger or readers to link to your blog as URL are linked when comment are posted. It could enhance 2 ways communication and attract more readers to your blog.
- Do make it a courtesy to reply a comment when readers posted a comment on the blog. This way it shows that you are appreciating their feedback or comment and also them as the reader of your blog.
- In the Internet, list the blog in the subject matter that you are concern within the blog directories. It could provide an easier search for the readers of the particular subject concerned.
- Keeping your reader interesting with frequent posting. At least more than 1 post in a day could provide more choices and letting the reader track your progress more often.
- Entertaining your blog is very important. Making sure that reader will not be bored and continue reading will help in maintaining the reader interest to your blog.
- Link your blog to forums, message boards and also during email could draw attention to your blog. Marketing the blogs could increase your networking range too.
According to Arren (2009), there are a few existing types of blogging communities in the Internet for blogger choice. Majority of the blogging communities have same type of features such as friendly layout, security, privacy option and etc. The few most popular blogging communities now is Xanga, LiveJournal, BlogFeast, BlogCatalog and etc. Choosing the right blogging community is important as it enable enhancement to post more and attracting the right and interested readers to your blog.

Blogger used BlogCatalog as a social directory for them. BlogCatalog will target on blogger that are interested in marketing their blog, search for blogs in different subject matters and linking them with one and another for easier search (work as directory). Discussion could takes place on each subject matter as interested reader will gather together to exchange opinion. Besides that, when blogs are categorised based on their own subject matters, it enhance the searching job of the readers.
